Menu design for Swahili Village, a Kenyan restaurant and bar in Maryland. The color scheme was created using photographs of the menu items and logo concept. The ideas were to transport customers to a city in Kenya and to show the beauty of the restaurant’s East African roots. They consider themselves a family restaurant that serves fresh food that is made daily from quality ingredients and I wanted the typography and visual imagery to reflect the bold spices and culture.
